it's nice to receive gifts, regardless of what they are. however, when you receive a gift that represents you to a tee, it shows how much your friends really care & how well they genuinely know you. today i received one of those gifts. the most incredible (belated) birthday presents from two of my good friends - a gianni versace coffee table book, which was sourced from a second-hand book store & was legitimate vintage in itself - published in the early 90s! anyone that knows me well or follows the blog & my instagram will know my love for vintage designer pieces (especially gianni versace.) the book is in perfect condition & takes a detailed tour through the signature collections gianni created - including some rare designs he had created for theatrical production. i'm in love & inspired all over again. i have wonderful friends, just as wonderful as this book.
